She is such an excellent and a very talented singer! Everytime she released an album, I always get a copy and put it into my collections. Her voice is so pleasing to listen and so much soul to it! I love singing her songs and enjoying the feel of the melody. She is such a unique artist that can play piano and sing at the same time. Just like her last name, she's got the Keys!

A major part of the illusion is the painting. With varying shades of browns and green used, you'll be tempted to reach out and touch it to make certain that it's not actually tree bark. Even when you're viewing it close up, the realism is striking.

My daughter DeAnn at the patio from our room overlooking the Atrium and the Greenhouse ambiance of the hotel. Can you believe that this sailboat is inside the hotel? Infact, this a seafood restaurant called "Sunset Sam's Fish Camp". The towering mast of a 60-foot sailboat is the landmark for this "harbor of the hip".

SAN DIEGO - The line snaked through the Comic-Con floor. Hundreds of camera toting fans jockeyed for position, barely able to contain their excitement.
They weren't trying to see the latest world-saving superhero or never before seen footage. They were waiting to see Carmen Electra and Kim Kardashian. The two beauties made their Comic-Con debut Saturday, signing autographs to promote their new film, "Disaster Movie." Both wore formfitting, cleavage-bearing dresses as they posed for fans' photos. For 18 year old John Kilgore, attending the signing was the day's top priority. "It's Carmen Electra," he explained. "What's not to like about a woman like that?" David Benker, 46, was embarrassed to reveal exactly how excited he was to meet the two women. "Aw, come on," he said. "My son is here and he'll tell his mom."
Most fans sheepishly shuffled by collecting their posters, but a few were brave enough to talk to the pinup pair. "You look even more beautiful in person," said one blushing fan. "Wow." Another whipped out his cell phone to show Electra her own photo. "You're on my screen saver right now," he said.
Despite the frenzy of excitement, the fans were well behaved, Electra said: "They were all really sweet." A Lionsgate release, "Disaster Movie" which features a wrestling scene between Kardashian and Electra hits theaters Aug. 29.

Disaster Minister Shinya Izumi told reporters that the earthquake caused a blackout in wide areas in the region, leaving about 6,700 homes without electricity. Izumi said a team of officials from the ministry were assessing the extent of damage. Police said some of the more serious injuries included: a woman in Hirono and another in nearby Aomori City who each broke a leg falling down stairs; another woman in Aomori City who broke her hip as she fled out a window; and a 66-year-old woman in Miyagi prefecture who broke her arm falling from a bed.
Japan is one of the world's most earthquake-prone countries. A 6.8 magnitude earthquake is capable of causing serious, widespread damage. Last month, a 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck sparsely populated rural areas in northern Japan, killing at least 12 people, leaving 10 others missing and injuring more than 300.
Meteorological Agency official Takashi Yokota warned of possible aftershocks from Thursday's quake.

In this Dec. 25, 1985 file photo, four veteran actresses, from left, Estelle Getty, Rue McClanahan, Bea Arthur and Betty White, from the television series "The " Golden Girls" are shown during a break in taping in Hollywood. Actress Estelle Getty has died at the age of 84. Her son, Carl Gettleman, says she died early Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at home in Los Angeles. (AP Photo/Nick Ut, file)
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Estelle Getty, the diminutive actress who spent 40 years struggling for success before landing a role of a lifetime in 1985 as the sarcastic octogenarian Sophia on TV's "The Golden Girls," has died. She was 84.
Getty, who suffered from advanced dementia, died at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at her Hollywood Boulevard home, said her son, Carl Gettleman of Santa Monica.
"Estelle always wanted to be an actress, and she achieved that goal beyond her dreams," former "Golden Girls" co-star Rue McClanahan told The Associated Press. "Don't feel sad about her passing. She will always be with us in her crowning achievement, Sophia."
"The Golden Girls," featuring four female retirees sharing a house in Miami, grew out of NBC programming chief Brandon Tartikoff's belief that television was ignoring its older viewers.
Three of its stars had already appeared in previous series: Bea Arthur in "Maude," Betty White in "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and McClanahan in "Mama's Family." The last character to be cast was Sophia Petrillo, the feisty 80-something mother of Arthur's character.
"Our mother-daughter relationship was one of the greatest comic duos ever, and I will miss her," Arthur said in a statement.
When she auditioned, Getty was appearing on stage in Hollywood as the carping Jewish mother in Harvey Fierstein's play "Torch Song Trilogy." In her early 60s, she flunked her "Golden Girls" test twice because it was believed she didn't look old enough to play 80.
"I could understand that," she told an interviewer a year after the show debuted. "I walk fast, I move fast, I talk fast."
She came prepared for the third audition, however, wearing dowdy clothes and telling an NBC makeup artist, "To you this is just a job. To me it's my entire career down the toilet unless you make me look 80." The artist did, Getty got the job and won two Emmys.
"The only comfort at this moment is that although Estelle has moved on, Sophia will always be with us," White said in an e-mail to The Associated Press.
"The Golden Girls" culminated a long struggle for success during which Getty worked low-paying office jobs to help support her family while she tried to make it as a stage actress.
"I knew I could be seduced by success in another field, so I'd say, 'Don't promote me, please,'" she recalled.
She also appeared in small parts in a handful of films and TV movies during that time, including "Tootsie," "Deadly Force" and "Victims for Victims: The Theresa Saldana Story."
After her success in "The Golden Girls," other roles came her way. She played Cher's mother in "Mask," Sylvester Stallone's in "Stop or My Mom Will Shoot" and Barry Manilow's in the TV film "Copacabana." Other credits included "Mannequin" and "Stuart Little" (as the voice of Grandma Estelle).
"The Golden Girls," which ran from 1985 to 1992, was an immediate hit, and Sophia, who began as a minor character, soon evolved into a major one.
Audiences particularly loved the verbal zingers Getty would hurl at the other three. When McClanahan's libidinous character Blanche once complained that her life was an open book, Sophia shot back, "Your life's an open blouse."
"I always told her she should be a standup comic. She was so funny in person," McClanahan recalled. "She would always say, 'Why couldn't we make these characters Jewish? Why am I Sicilian?'"
Getty had gained a knack for one-liners in her late teens when she did standup comedy at a Catskills hotel. Female comedians were rare in those days, however, and she bombed.
Undeterred, she continued to pursue a career in entertainment, and while her parents were encouraging, her father also insisted that she learn office skills so she would have something to fall back on.
Born Estelle Scher to Polish immigrants in New York, Getty fell in love with theater when she saw a vaudeville show at age 4.
She married New York businessman Arthur Gettleman (the source of her stage name) in 1947, and they had two sons, Carl and Barry. The marriage prevailed despite her long absences on the road and in "The Golden Girls."
Getty was evasive about her height, acknowledging only that she was "under 5 feet and under 100 pounds."
McClanahan said her nickname for Getty was "Slats."
"Because she was so short, itty-bitty," she said.
In addition to her son Carl, Getty is survived by son Barry Gettleman, of Miami; a brother, David Scher of London; and a sister, Rosilyn Howard of Las Vegas.

DeAnn and Nikko!
Our sweet puppy girl "Nikko". She was named after my first dog a German Shepperd which she passed away 15 years ago (old age). It took me awhile to get another dog because I had a hard time getting over with her death. Nikko, is a Shi Tza Poo (Shi Tzu and Poodle) mixed and weight 13 lbs only. She is considered our youngest part of the family. She likes to be called "Good Girl" all the time when she does No. 1 and No. 2 and she always look forward for her "Treat" the magic word? Guess what? she loves to be given a bath and also wants to be blowed dry after. She loves the water and wants to be in a shower each time she seen neither me or my husband will take one. But we can only give her at least twice a week because it's not good for her skin. If we cook eggs and have breakfast in the morning, she also gets her own egg. We don't mind given her sometimes because it's good for her fur. We have to be very careful with her diet because we want her to live longer. We love her very much!!! and she is milking it! Huh!
She is such an adorable puppy! She think she is a big dog because, very protective to her family. Barely bark though, only when there is a suspicious noise and never seen people. Very playful and loved the stomach massage. If I were to talk about her, I don't have enough space! that's how much we love and care Nikko.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Khloe Kardashian's next dose of reality will involve the county jail. The youngest daughter of famed defense attorney Robert Kardashian admitted violating her probation stemming from a 2007 drunken driving arrest during a July 3 court hearing, according to court records.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered Kardashian, who's featured on E! Entertainment Television's "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," to surrender to authorities on Friday and serve up to 30 days in jail.
Kardashian will also have to enroll in an alcohol treatment program — one of the terms of probation she failed to complete — within three weeks of her release. She will also remain on probation.
"Khloe is ready and willing to serve out her sentence, no matter how long and where, and have this resolved," her publicist, Jeff Raymond, told The Associated Press.
It's unclear how long Kardashian, 23, will remain in jail. Other, more famous celebrities including Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie have served shortened sentences because of jail overcrowding.
Her drunken driving arrest was featured in an episode of the E! series.

In a statement released late Friday by the U.S. Army, the men thanked their families, the Colombian military and the U.S. government, "who never forgot us."
"For five and a half long years, we all hoped and prayed this day would come," the men said. "Now that it has, we're just overwhelmed with emotion. The love and the joy we're all experiencing is beyond description."
The three freed American hostages — Keith Stansell, Marc Gonsalves and Thomas Howes — have been receiving medical care at Brooke Army Medical Center at San Antonio's Fort Sam Houston. The three were working for a Northrop Grumman Corp. subsidiary when their drug-surveillance plane went down in Colombia's southern jungle in February 2003.
They were among 15 hostages, including French-Colombian politician Ingrid Betancourt and 11 Colombians, rescued by Colombia's military in a daring mission Wednesday.
In their statement, which was released on the Fourth of July, the men said, "We can't think of a better time to thank our fellow citizens for never giving up on us, for never forgetting us, for always believing that we would, one day, return home to the country we love."
In an interview broadcast Saturday, Stansell's Colombian fiancee told that nation's RCN Radio that she has traveled to meet him in Texas along with their 5-year-old twin boys, who will see their father for the first time.
Patricia Medina said she and Stansell plan to get married. She spoke before leaving Colombia on Friday for San Antonio.
Medina was pregnant when Stansell's plane went down. Stansell later learned in captivity that she had given birth to twins, Nicolas and Keith.
"We're going to organize the wedding," Medina said. "We talked to Keith last night. He talked with the boys."
She said that Stansell told her "he's super happy, and that he's waiting for us there."
Former Colombian Sen. Luis Eladio Perez, who was freed in February, says he relayed Stansell's marriage proposal to Medina back then, and she accepted.
Medina met Stansell in April 2002 while working as a flight attendant on an Avianca flight.
Stansell, who has other children from a previous marriage, has also been reunited with 16-year-old Kyle and 19-year-old Lauren, his ex-wife Kelly Coady said by phone from Sarasota, Fla.

Venus Williams reacts as she defeats her sister Venus to win the Women's Singles Championship on the Centre Court at Wimbledon, Saturday, July 5, 2008.
WIMBLEDON, England (AP) — Venus Williams beat sister Serena 7-5, 6-4 Saturday to win her fifth Wimbledon title and seventh Grand Slam championship.
It was Venus' first win over her younger sibling in a Grand Slam final since the 2001 U.S. Open, and evened their career record at 8-8.
Venus came from 3-1 down in the first set to turn around the match, breaking Serena four times while dropping her own serve twice in a final of high quality despite the wind.
Venus broke to finish the match, with Serena hitting a backhand wide on the second match point. The sisters embraced at the net, and Venus kept her celebrations in check as she twirled and waved to the Centre Court crowd.
Venus accepted the winner's trophy, a sterling silver salver aptly named the Venus Rosewater dish from the Duke of Kent.
"I have to first of all say great match to Serena," Venus said. "I can't believe that it's five but when you're in the final against Serena Williams, five seems too far away from that first point. She played so awesome. It was really a task to beat her.
"It's so rewarding to perform here," Venus added. "Every time I come back I know I have the chance to play well and make history. My first job is big sister and I take that very seriously."
Watching the match from the players' box was the sisters' mother, Oracene. Their father, Richard, had flown back to the United States because he can't stand to watch his daughters play each other.
Referring to the mixed feelings of her family about who to support, Venus said, "It's hard for all of them, but I like to think they want me to win."
The 26 year old Serena accepted her runner-up trophy and paid tribute to her 28 year old sister.
"I'm so happy that at least one of us was able to win," Serena said. "She's played great this year. We're just glad to be in the finals again."

"To have your feet done, to have your leg done, you have to be on narcotics," Tyler told The Associated Press on Friday. "You have to be on sleep aids at night. I don't know about Joe (Perry) but I was off and running and I didn't like the me that was me."
Tyler released a statement in late May saying he checked into a rehab facility in search of a "safe environment" to recover from several foot surgeries and physical therapy. Tyler said the procedures were to correct longtime foot injuries resulting from his physical performances as the singer for the blues-rock band.
"This was a month ago, so I just put the brakes on and checked into detox and just pulled the plug on all of it," he told the AP on Friday night at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, where he and bandmates were promoting "Guitar Hero 3: Aerosmith."
The 60-year-old was known for heavy drug and alcohol abuse in the 1970s and early 1980s, but completed rehabilitation in 1986, after which Aerosmith enjoyed a successful revival.
